A 45,000 sf. addition and a major renovation of the 67,000 SF building originally constructed in the 1960’s. The design included a new aluminum and glass atrium with a broad canopy at its relocated entrance and a staff/student lounge. Three different types of systems intensive laboratories were created - flexible generic, inflexible hard space and high-bay space. The existing building was renovated to accommodate spaces such as classrooms and faculty offices.
